Green Academy Africa is in coordination with the UNESCO office in Bangkok, Nairobi, and Addis Ababa, coordinating global strategic efforts to further the cause of Green Academies. As well as working together on feasibility studies and the scientific aspects of the project.

Is a German Association with a long track record of developmental projects in Ethiopia, since 2019 they are our sponsoring association and handle the legal as well as accounting for the project.

The Ministry of Innovation and Technology is our funding partner with 40% of the construction cost, furthermore we jointly conducted a feasibility study for the Yayu preparatory school as well created a joint implementation plan for the project.

QUEST 4 ACTION is an open sciences platform with a mechanism to promote the emerging green economy by augmenting knowledge, networking and necessary skills for science based environmental management. QUEST 4 ACTION is promoting the Green Academy project and is providing connections with important partners such as UN Habitat and SEAMEO.

The African Students Association Zurich through its affiliation with ETH, UZH and various other Unviersities in Switzerland, is an important partner for recruiting efforts and joint research projects.

GAA collaborates with the Pelum Ethiopia Consortium in applying ecological principles, best fitting agro-ecological practices, indigenous/local knowledge and practices for increasing production and productivity, improved food and nutrition security.
