The “Green” stands for the focus Green Academies have on preserving the natural environment. “Academy” emphasises the engagement of students.

Secondary education students are empowered to identify their specific needs, focusing on four key pillars: Water security, Clean energy, Biomass production, and Waste management. Together with their teachers, they will develop and implement a personalized "Sustainability Plan" following the UNESCO Green Academy framework.

Higher education students are encouraged to explore creative, entrepreneurial, and digital innovations to tackle the complex global challenges of sustainability.
